New Work: Developing the Collection

Our volunteer group now has five writers, some of whom are busy working on the aspects of Saltaire’s history where prior detail wasn’t available, for example Salts hospital. Others are collecting the oral histories of 20th century traders and businesses located in Saltaire. Early, exciting news is that we have begun to collect the history of PACE Microtechnology Ltd. who were in the forefront of the ‘digital revolution’ and based in Salts Mill from 1988.
