Menu cards for royal visit (A3-006.5)

Description

Handwritten menu cards for royal visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales on 23rd June 1882. The Gold surround is hand decorated with a Thrush with foliage. The menu started with ‘Julienne Soup’. This item is currently on display in Salts Mill, in the exhibition ‘People and Process’ which is on the 3rd floor Gallery.
