Thank you to Bradford Through The Lens for working with Maggie from the Saltaire Collection to produce a fascinating film about one of the Saltaire tunnels and the history of the Exhibition Building.
We helped organise an event in 2017 allowing the public to view ‘the secret tunnels of Saltaire’. Regrettably, not everybody who wanted to could see the tunnels. Ever since, we’ve been repeatedly asked ‘could you open the tunnels again?’
For the tunnel underneath Exhibition Road, the only way we could do that was by asking Bradford Through The Lens to make this film. We hope that you enjoy the film and the hidden history of the tunnel.
