Events are moving fast because of the spread of Covid and you will not be surprised to hear that, sadly, we can no longer allow access to the Collection.
It is housed in Shipley College which has closed its buildings from 20 March. The health and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our priority. We are also sorry that we will not be able to take part in the Saltaire Sundowner event, due to have taken place on 18 April as it has been cancelled, in line with current guidelines.
However we are lucky to have had the opportunity to develop our website over the last year and records for much of our collection are now available online.
There are also a number of recent articles, biographies and, for parents and carers looking for things for children to do at home including learning resources and some fun colouring sheets and other activities.
We will keep our website updated as the situation develops.
