Most of the items from the Saltaire Collection have been on their summer holidays courtesy of Bradford Museums and Galleries.
Our home in Shipley College’s Exhibition Building has been undergoing some maintenance work over the summer, and we had to move out our collection to a safe space, kindly provided by our friends in Bradford.
We’re happy to announce that the maintenance work is done and the items have been safely returned. All we have to do now is unpack them and get them back into place…no small job!
The Collection will remain closed to visitors until April 2024, to enable every item to be condition checked and audited as boxes are slowly unpacked.
